A
highly successful business woman and life-long traveler, Cynthia
Bassett began exploring remote corners of the globe
more than thirty years ago. While most of us are content to
comfortably relax in tourist resorts, Cynthia becomes immersed
in primitive cultures that are often only accessible by roads
least traveled. She's braved the most basic accommodations,
political conflict, and intolerable climates to bring the
world's diversity to your doorstep.

Cynthia's
adventures have taken her to every continent except Antarctica.
A curious and perceptive traveler, she has an intuitive
knack for absorbing tribal traditions that have remained
unchanged for thousands of years. She translates these experiences
into vibrant photographic presentations that help us to
intimately and authentically connect with ancient villages
often on the brink of extinction.
Her
rich and colorful photographs have appeared in the Junior
Worldmark Encyclopedia of the Nations and are vividly displayed
in her Beachwood, (Cleveland) Ohio executive office alongside
many professional awards.
Sit
back and relax as you join Cynthia with the sights and sounds
of journeys into unfamiliar cultures and territories.
"Cynthia
Bassett's newly-published DVDs present dramatic photographs
of peoples and places in the far corners of the world.
Her narrative has a truly lyric quality. How lucky
we are to have her works at hand - our own travel
guru." - Helga Sandburg Crile, Poet
"The quality and cadence of your voice, the
flow of the narration, and the amazing photographs.
[The format allows] the viewer more time to savor
each frame."
"[The DVD's] have a special quality about them
that can only be captured through the lens of a true
professional and one that permits still pictures to
come to life."
